Saturdays DD's Mountaineer
Should be a fast track tonight. The early double my play is 8,9/6,7,8 and then a little extra 8,9/6.I really think the 6 in the 2nd is very live tonight on a fast track. The late double which is now the 8th and 9th race looks chalky to me.The 5 in the 8th looks like he gets a great stalking trip and can pounce on these at any time.In the finale the 5 is returning to Mountaineer where the horse has never been off the board and has worked back on the track. The late double play for me is 5/5.Good luck.

I am in the partnership that owns Gotcha Shaken in the 8th. The favorite Speedway with Dana Whitney on board crushed Shakey in the stretch and caused him to hit the rail. Whitney is lucky he didn't hurt Shakey and/or Belmonte. Horrible ride as he could have done something to prevent what could have been a horrific wreck. It didn't cost us the win, but possibly second or third. Shakey will be back to fight another day.
We did win with Baltic King in the MSW 4th race. He was much the best and I can't wait to see him run against better company. 1 mile is is short for this big guy. It was my first trip ever to Mountaineer and it wasn't a bad place. Staff was friendly and the hotel at the Resort was nice as well. Last edited by ARyan : 12-04-2006 at 09:02 PM. |
