I didnt do so well (3 of 10) but it was fun and brings back fond memories of the great 90's, a time where we saw champions that actually ran in races.
Best Pal, Skip Away, Cigar, Lure, Star of Cozzene, Paradise Creek, Formal Gold, Holy Bull, Go for Gin, Awad, Silver Charm, Real Quiet, Bertrando, Go for Wand.

Geez, werent we ever spoiled. I'd be hard pressed to comprise a list that half holds a candle to this so far in this decade.

Who was the last horse to win the Manhattan Handicap, Man o'War and Turf Classic all in the same year?

I think it was Jet, it was a VERY bad year of American grass horses that year and I'm not sure if he even won the Eclipse award.

Obviously Kotashan won that Eclipse award...but Diplomatic Jet did win all three races.

I couldn't remember who it was who beat him, are you sure Kotashan was that year?
I hated Jet, I always played against him and he always made those loose leads in slow paces.

It wasnt THAT bad...

In those races he beat horses like Flag Down, Mecke, Awad, Marlin, Raintrap, Dernier Empereur.

If it wasnt for a bad ride in the Caesar's Inernational that year he would have won that too...

Bad ride? Well....Chavez rode him.

Singspeil won that year...even though he lost the BC turf to Pilsudski.
