Prado probable scratch #8, wild desert - dutrow Dutrow entered both Wild Desert, who drew post 8 in the $750,000 Foster, and Love of Money (post 10), but said he is likely to scratch Wild Desert. Dutrow said he is inclined to save the colt for the Grade 1, $400,000 Suburban Handicap, a 1 1/4-mile race set for July 1 at Belmont Park. "The owners are leaning that way, too," he said, referring to a partnership headed by Dan Borislow. "Besides, the way Love of Money is training, there aren't too many horses that can beat him when he brings his 'A' game." Last edited by Secretariat : 06-15-2006 at 12:29 PM. |

![]() Seems like a two horse race from the 1/2 mile pole home. This is the time of the year you take the best younger horse facing the best older. Brass Hat over Buzzards Bay with all the rest in thier dust. Then there is the Dubai Flu that might still be bothering Brass Hat.

![]() it looks like only 2 people won anything this week, both with money on perfect drift to show.
the scores should be interesting with only a handfull of people with any positive return after 2 weeks, 3 races. |

I had a WPS bet on him $20 each. If I had just stuck with my WPS on him with all my money. Ahhhh live and learn. I think Playa made the best bet with $120 to show on PD. He should move up a lot in the standings.

![]() Actually, looks like it was $120 to place on Perfect Drift.. that would have been a nice wager at the track.
although, doesn't it seem that PD paying 8.20 to place was real short, especially with a horse who probably drew next to nothing into that pool? PD must've been played heavy on the bottom straight wager pools (place/show).. Either way, good pick. Mine ran waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up the track ![]() |
