![]() Just wondering. I ask around Great Lakes Downs over the weekend and noone I mean noone is talking about it. Not even the tellers, beer guy or my old man friend. Are they riding anywhere else yet? Can they work horses but not ride in the afternoon?

People aren't talking because the specifics aren't out there and won't be for at least two months. The general story is out there but it is off the record and can't be reported. |

![]() pb,
Here is what can probably be assumed. There was a race at Great Lakes that was either found to be suspicious by stewards, an owner, a trainer, or someone actually involved didn't feel they got their "fair share" of the proceeds from something less than on the level. That being said, I am not shocked that none of the folks most likely to have profited (tellers, bartenders, etc) at the track are keeping quiet. Whether or not they can get in trouble, it is not likely the first time it has happened. They aren't going to give up the people who help them make a little extra cash...are they? It will all come out soon enough and it'll be another black eye for racing. It's a shame really, no matter what happened. |

This is NOT what happened and it unfortunately won't come out " soon enough " and will most likely be a few months. |

![]() Then it really is a shame becasue this will be debated for another couple weeks on forums like this and they will reach the same conclusion. The truth will be a half page article buried on drf. It seems a bit strong to suspend all of these jockies so early without atleast making known what is being investigated.

This is not true and what logical explanation can you give for posting this? |

The jocks arent suspended they are barred which is diffirent , this is not a stewards or racing commissions ruling , this is the owner's of racetracks deciding they dont want to let them in and they dont have to.
