Default I Finally Came to My Senses

I never thought I'd be saying this, that I finally came to my senses. It took a while. Thank you to all that endured my daily rants, "Bush bashings"...on and on. I was confused. All of you nice people made me think. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Despite the fact that so many lives have been taken, which was very upsetting to me, I honestly didn't take the time to evaluate or assess that which has been accomplished. To our great President, George W Bush's credit, the wise military leadership, and the ongoing sacrifice of those who serve, I'm thrilled to see that the objectives, the "mission" has indeed been "accomplished".
Regarding the task of finding and eliminating weapons of mass destruction- DONE!
Regarding removal and fair justice for a brutal dictator-DONE!
Regarding creation of a democratically elected government with a constitution-DONE!
Our objectives of "Operation Iraqi Freedom" launched on on March 20, 2003, have indeed been met, thanks to the wisdom of our leaders and the brave service of our military forces.

So, thanks to all of you for tolerating me when I doubted that these objectives would be met. I've come to my senses and realize that they have been, finally!

There yet remains the small matter of allowing the Sunni and Shia to resolve their sectarian differences, that are ongoing. This will be achieved politically between those factions, as US military intervention in this situation is not indicated. Let the concerned Iraqi factions resolve these disputes on their own. We've certainly done enough! The mission (s) have been accomplished.
Time to bring the troops home for their well deserved ticker-tape parade!!!

And thanks again to all DTers for putting up with all of my doubts. We won!!!

Well yes, technically all of the pre-war stated goals have been accomplished as far as I can tell.

Don't get me wrong, I love the tone of both of these posts

Don't we have something like $20 million set aside for parades? You shouldn't need your own favors.

Brian,
I'm glad you're seeing the light! As far as parades, let's go ALL out!
besides the confetti, I'm thinking of bidding on the McKinney cheerleader pom-poms if they come up on e-bay. Heck, I'll even shave my legs so I look good in the cheer leader uniform I put on lay away.
Let the celebrations begin!!!

Wow!!! Not to hijack my own thread, but more good news!
Kissinger and Shutlz are coming on board!

This is so totally great that I'm giddy!

Now the only difficult decisions I have to make are between the red-head long wig, or the shorter blonde. I've never cross dressed before. I think the red one will go better with the maroon cheerleader outfit. My sideburns have to go. Oh well, anything to show my appreciation as a proud American!
Peace! Glorious day!
The pom-poms aren't up yet on e-bay. Does anyone have some in maroon and white for a reasonable price?
Thanks!
