Default SNS - Moving Forward

I thought this race was a perfect race for him going into the Sunshine Millions. Watching the end of the race he finished well after the wire (rode out) and I think today was just too short for him. I don't think Trombetta tighten the screws at all for this race and it is all systems go for the million bucks coming up at the end of the month. Thoughts?

my thought is that you could be right. yeah, winning the hal's hope would be good--but the millions would be better i would think.

Yes he should do fine off this. I actually thought he loafed a bit at the beginning of the race. kind of middle moved into it and then made a solid move around 3/4 but was being outkicked at the end, and came back a bit to finish right behind the others. I'm a big fan of this guy, I hope he wins the SunMill race.

Depending on who goes, I am hoping for 3/1 or 7/2

Scavs,

without knowing exactly who's pointing for the race I don't know if you'll get 3-1. I will say I was surprised he was 6/5 in this race. I thought he would be higher than that.

I just looked at the nominations and it really depends on what Lava Man does, I could see them shipping to Gulfstream to run for 1 million (last second). That being said, you have to think that 12-14 will go, and the field should be a little stronger then today....Wishful thinking probably when asking for 7/2.....

I guess, if Trombetta was pointing to the Donn, they're still on track. I've been critical of Dominguez in the past and today's trip was no exception. Watch and see who gets the mount next out...

He is pointing towards the Sunshine Millions

Steve, if you get Trombetta on, can you ask him why he showed up in front wraps today? Richi mentioned it on another thread

I've thought all of his races were a very good since the lay-off. I can't imagine it is that easy to re-group when a horse so obviously in need of a freshener.
