![]() been reading the goings on, listening to the tv, some (many?) are suggesting:
1-a big shake up in his team. 2-that he's only trying to hold onto what we've got, and in two years turn this mess over to his successor. so many disappointments already with this admin, it would only be that much worse if they can't finish what they've started, and leave it for others to finish. or at least try to finish. never seems to be an end in sight. |

![]() bush is supposed to announce his new plan wednesday.
when i read the latest article this am, the first thought that came to my mind was public education. send in more troops (teachers) send more money... didn't work for education, will it work in iraq? |

![]() You can't tame these savages. We should be spending this money on security measures that will keep them out of our country(not worrying about whether they are gunna kill each other.)Believe me,the Dems couldn't have won that election by themselves. This idiot piss'n away 3000 American lives in Iraq is what cost him both houses of Congress.Twenty thousand more troops going in there would do nothing good, and it would simply be a slap in the face of the American People (who voted to do the exact opposite.) The guy even lost f'n Montana. Is the guy just too damn slow to realize why that took place?

"I listen to Generals...I don't do anything with the information...but I listen. And ...listenin' is important. Amurrcans need a listener. I'm the listener." |

You know, he's listening. I know I will be on Wed. at 9:00 pm. He's the listener, he's the decider, and, between you and me, i'm convinced that he's as sane as I am. On a side note, I still haven't heard from anyone about my leg shaving strategies nor about how to bring "fullness" to my newly arrived cheerleading outfit. I tried tennis balls but they made me look like I'd gotten inplants. Then I tried billiard balls, but they sagged down a bit and I looked like my great grandmother on a bad day. Anyway, I'm glad that I came to my senses. Mission Accomplished and all that. Let's all cut our great commander and chief a break. He's as sane as me. DTS |

Scuds, the only thing consistent about Bush is his refusal to take advice that contradicts what he thinks God is telling him to do. Don't count on him caring one way or another what the American people want. He answers to a "higher father," after all. And the 2004 election results were his mandate, as far as he's concerned. You or I, I assume, would be less likely to take a 51% victory as a mandate, but hey, what do I know? Danzig, I hope to be proved wrong, but I think he's going to keep doing what he's been doing and then pass the whole mess off to a successor (who, I fear, will be blamed for "losing the war"). Check out his record in the business world prior to him going into politics.

![]() i think you're right about bush and his plans the next two years on this war, as well as the almost forgotten war in afganistan.
as for him hearing all these directions from above....like i've said before, how do you argue with that?! you can't, and that's the problem. guy thinks he can do no wrong, he has a direct line. crazy. when asa hutchison was running for governor here in ark, they interviewed his wife. she said asa was running because god told him to--why? god wanted him to run and lose?? she also said god told them to move to d.c.--she cried and cried, but knew it was what god wanted. that's just not my thing. to me, that's a heck of a way to shed any responsibility! hey, i didn't want to--but god did. i always thought it took the ultimate ego to believe stuff like that. i personally think god has bigger things to worry about then what job i decide to take, or whether i decide to move to another city. i mean, there are people STARVING--isn't it kind of cheeky to bug god over minor stuff???? |
