Default Best/Worst Cover Songs

while I appreciate the idea that we should all share our grooming habits and preferences Kevin and I were having another conversation...best and worst cover song performances...

worst IMO...Madonna doing 'American Pie'
Favorite IMO...Blues Traveler doing 'No Woman No Cry' or U2 'Everlasting Love'
Hilarious IMO...kenny chesney, garth brooks and tim mcgraw doing Snoop's 'Gin and Juice'

That was my first thought before I clicked on the thread. Best, I'll go with Guns N Roses covering "Live and Let Die". Different from the original in a good way. Just about any Nirvana cover from the Unplugged show would be up there too. Loved their covers of the Meat Puppets and David Bowie.

just glad to see someone else chime in...other wise Pais and I could have just resumed this conversation in Private Message

she's fabulous...at least in the version that they play as a duet...
U2 also did a good version of all along the watchtower...however no one does it better than Hendrix who stole it first.

I like that version better than the Stones...
