do you have thoughts on the 6th? Do you think 7 months off and a switch to Ted West is enough to get this gelding right? Right now I like Hudson Bank, Indian Weaver, and Fantasmin

And the 7th...very interesting....Is Overly Tempting the horse that ran that huge fig to her first start or the one that stopped in the lane second time out (even though she won and beat De Svedonya it was a slow race). Not sold on Naugtylilhottie....need the lead type will stop bad going 6.5f. Valid Valid is worth a play based on the above.....and maybe even Monkey....

In the 6th,I like the claim-backs(N House,Fantasmin,)and yes,Watch Over Me has fired fresh before, and is 3 for 8 at Anita. If I had to take just 1,it would be Fantasmin(Hess isn't the sharpest knife in the box,and so once he finally figures a horse out, that horse becomes a star in that stable.)As far as Overly Tempting goes, this is a bit of a subjective thing, but (to me) the track got more tiring as the day went, and the times got slower(for the amount of work being done.)I think the track started favoring stuff from off the pace, and that's why Da Svedonya got close. It appeared to be a tiring track.I think Overly Tempting should put in a better run Wednesday. What do I know? Females gunna do what they want.

I think it is overly tempting or valid valid, but leaning heavily towards overly tempting as she should be able to sit off of Naughtylilhottie, pounce entering the stretch and hold off the closers valid valid, Monkey and de svedonya (put that down as the stone cold super)

As for the 6th, I do like the claim back angle in general.....it is obvious Knapp claimed Norway House due to his affinity for Santa Anita, but my question is the cut back to 7f....he will either come from way back or he will expend too much effort trying to stay close and he will lose that closing kick of his?.....My comment on Watch Over Me is really questioning if the horse got "fixed/healthy", as something was going very wrong when they dropped a horse running that well for 10k within a month, and then gets claimed and back in for a 12k tag....then the owner takes him from Mulhall to West.....it smells of an injury and the question is he healthy now and can he be half of what he used to be....I am also concered about Cohen up....yuck... Again, I really like Fantasmin, Indian Weaver, and Hundson Bank at 20-1 is very appealing in this group.......probably add either Norway or Watch Over but not sold on that idea yet.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I like the 7 to be flying late in this race at a nice price (10/1 ML)

I use to think Norway House was very un-game,but he now isn't.His problem last time was the 47 half mile.He has gotten very game, and 7f should actually fit him even better than 2 turns. He,and Fantasmin are very similar. They both want to make one run outside of horses. After watching Watch Over Me's races(7 times in the top 2 at Anita,)these are 3 of the gamest on the grounds.Won't be surprised if they come 1,2,3.

Damn, I thought I had a winner in the 1. Perfect trip, perfect set up, just flattened out like a f-kin pancake in the stretch.
