Funny Racing stories

Two brothers found themselves with a fast horse & being punters (handicappers) didn't want anyone to know about it before it had its maiden
so one brother would go out about 3 oclock in the morning & move the furlong posts further apart so when the horse ran it'd clock 14 then when the track was closed theyd move em back needless to say it worked & the boy's made a killing at the track when it won by 6 furlongs ;-).

This next one names have been changed to protect the guilty
As there are no retiring age old fred was well into his 70s unfortunately old fred suffered from loss of memory as it was a busy training track around 900 per day old fred had swum his horse & let it dry in the stall, well it was time to take his horse home so he loaded the horse up & did just that.

The Problem?
it wasnt his horse !!! the other trainer came around found his horse missing & called the police was all solved when low & behold after all the trainers left there sitting in a stall quite content was fred's horse
