Default 2/14: Gulfstream (Carryover)

Hallandale will be the focus of most players Wednesday with the Eastern Seaboard gripped by the season's first significant winter storm. Pools will be large and the $140K carryover should swell considerably with snowbound punters having nowhere else to go. The sextet (R4-9) is perilous though, and it will likely take a large investment to construct a winning play.

That reality and the heavyweight investments likely into the other multi-race pots, should provide great opportunities for P3 and P4 tries as it did a few weeks back on the monsterous double carryover day at Santa Anita. I'll be playing those and individual races personally as opposed to trying the "6"...

Default Gulfstream 4th

Timmy Hills is 38% droping a horse in class at the gulf meet , and 27% in claiming races.
At around 12/1 or so could offer some nice value .

Come on me Son.

Snog..

Love Hills, but barn is ice cold right now... Could be a sneaky smart play here. Desperate for a "W"? Board may tell the story.. Thanks for pointing him out... May be a good cover in the multis.. (but a single Hick? I don't know...)

This pick 6 looks much tougher than Monday's cancelled card. The second leg and final leg look wide open.
Thought the 4 in the 4th was good as any (the slight drop versus these???), but your right about going single with a barn that cold.

Hills is a trainer that starts a lot of horses at this meet, and the stable is very cold , but this barn really start to warm up in february, like the bullet work out on feb 11th and the fact Bravos back to ride, maybe we can catch a couple of bombers from this barn before they start rolling.

They're off the turf. They scheduled three turf races for Thursday, on Monday after the rain, and in spite of being in a position to get the entire Northeast handle today they have chosen to flush the card down the toilet.

They're so out of it that I expect them to tear down their enjoyable racetrack and build a cramped slots palace better suited to Ozone Park.

Oh, what I am thinking, that'll never happen.

Very True. I was going to play the monday p6, but after taking a look at the todays card, there is no way Jose' to attempt it. Good luck though to those brace souls who do.
