yes, trying day DJARUM, although i was the only one of the companions in the desert to have the ignominious 0 yesterday!
have a terrible hangover, so will calculate tomorrow, but regarding the last race with the haafaguinea win, there is an angle which occurs very rarely (yes, last time my par time/distance coverered angle failed), but yesterday it worked out and i would like to share it with you gentlemen. perhaps this is conspiracy theory, but the meydan carnival is in one sense the godolphin carnival, and saeed bin suroor must have a winner at every meeting, which means that if we get to the last race, if bin suroor has not had a winner, you can essentially bet your life savings dutching his horses to win. for example, last year, i recall it happened two times - once he was without a winner the entire day into the last race tasaday won, at a lower price, and then on world cup day he won with african story, which of course was at a price. this year it has happened twice - al saham won at 10-1 (he had saxo jack at 10-1 in that race and also excellent result at a much lower price also, so you would have had to bet 3 horses) and then yesterday with haafaguinea and silent bullet. so of course aware of this angle what did i do? i only placed a win bet on silent bullet (both went off at 7s i think they could have had from bookmakers in europe for more) just an angle to be aware of gentlemen, perhaps it will work out, inshallah as they say in the desert, if you are in need of some emergency capital. granulars of sand particles choke the esophagus as a man tries to get one over on life and breathe in the infinite desert....
if only some mighty steed would appear so as to extricate one's person from this dantean ninth circle of hell... nevertheless, we be near the end gentlemen, and, oh it be so, death is not the end , as nick cave and kylie minogue said in harmony, citing another man. please find below the results, with DJARUM having clearly shown us all that death is not the end, climbing aboard a mighty steed, and claiming hegemony in the desert with a brilliant over 50% ROI! gentlemen, please review the selections if something has been missed (jaripeo when looking over what went wrong in the desert on my side, i saw that you had the i'm back / tiz now tiz then exacta from days gone passed and that has been added to your total) one further note sirs, and this clashes with Mr. Brock's orthodoxy however, to add more opium fuelled excitement in the desert, in addition to the standard bets this week and on world cup day (where stakes will be doubled following Mr: Brock's Orthodoxy), the hidden Imam has informed me that we will add a European style wager to the menu for super saturday as well as world cup night in one month's time! hence, in so far as there are 7 races on super saturday, every gentleman's top selection will be featured in a 1 petrodollar e/w SUPER HEINZ for a total of 240 additionally wagered pieces of printed currency ! oh those super heinzes, equivalent to throwing capital directly into the oft-cited rubbish bin of history ! but just because we enjoy the occassional punt punt, does not mean that we are materialists, but the exact opposite gentlemen - throw the paper currency into the air for they are far less valuable than the exquisite colours of the first leaves of autumn !
