Default Old Friends or Take2

Any opinions on either of these organizations? Our company is doing their annual giving campaign where they match contributions and I was just going to split the amount between the 2. Glad to see these are listed on our giving website.

I'm not familiar with Take 2. I can tell you that Old Friends is tremendous. Good people.

You cannot compare Old Friends and Take 2 as their respective charges are very different.

Take 2 has a more low profile, and arduous task, of finding homes/2nd careers for a steady parade of horses off the track.

Old Friends does a great job as a retirement home tourist attraction, but handles far fewer horses. Their original concept was to take in retired stallions.
