![]() Just being honest I have only done a few tournaments and they were local at the track near me and I did them just for the fun of it.
I had seen stuff like the NHC mostly because this site and a few others mention it, the BC tourney as well. What I did not realize is these sites like horsetourneys.com have more or less contests every day with a wide variation of ways to play. It seems to me this is a great way to market the sport to the younger, fantasy football generation. Yet, I have hardly seen this marketed within the sport. I only looked it up because on Friday I saw a DRF players podcast with Peter Fornatale (sp) and Johnathan Kitchen and it was a live contest follow along. I just find that interesting, I guess I dont follow the sport as close as I thought since someone like me hardly knows about them.

![]() Tourneys are pretty much all I play anymore. Aside from when I am at a track or in Vegas with my boys. Takeout is lower and I can limit my "churn". Big days I will do a little of both. Tourneys are just more fun for me personally.
