They are all terrible bets but I try not to bet on any horse under 30-1. I have no clue why anyone would have wanted him at 8-1 this weekend. I hope people realize that Baffert doesn’t win the Derby every year.

8-1 on any horse is not worth the money for a future bet IMO. Anything less then 50-1 isnt worth a gamble. If you like to play them better off taking a risk on exactas which pay very nice on futures but are hard to hit. Pure gambling.
