![]() The first 6 sires on that list had an average career length of 8 races.
Only one of them (Liam's Map) won a Grade 1 race beyond the juvenile year. Not convinced it's a good sign when an Into Mischief shows up in a 2yo-in-training sale to begin with... |

There were high hopes for Violence initially, but he's done little to validate the early promise. Likewise with Munnings; although he had a standout year last year, he wasn't looking too hot in recent seasons. Liam's Map has been modest at best after some decent juvenile performances from his first crop. Cairo Prince has done nothing as far as I know. Unified is a first crop sire, but by the fact that he has 2 high dollar horses in just this one sale right off the bat pretty much tells you that the KY breeding mafia will promote him like he's the second coming at least for the time being. A couple of years ago they pulled that "payola"-type scam with the Tapit sire He's Had Enough (look at his pathetic PPs) and lo and behold none of those sales darlings or 2yo winners ever did a thing (he's now in the Philippines apparently). |

![]() After a lull with his 2nd crop, Violence finished 2020 as the #1 Third Crop Sire. 3 G1 winners last year and 18 SW's overall in his first 3 crops.

Somewhat surprising those Grade 1 wins were all sprints (although Gold Beauty is deep in his female family). |

![]() Someone I respect recently said to me that he does not think Violence gives his horses stamina. Reasonable recent example might be Freedom Fighter

![]() I’ve been betting Violence offsprings at shorter distances which they seem to be much better at. I have no stats but that’s what I usually look at.

This got me thinking about one of his progeny. He had a really impressive maiden breaker on the Holy Bull undercard a couple years ago named Violencia. I just checked and she's back on the worktab. Kinda curious to see where she ends up. |

![]() Same. I played the runner up in her next out and she won...but don’t think she paid much. Can’t remember at this point.
