Angry Service at it's worst

Last night about 5:30 i took the kids for a little treat of ice cream to Baskin Robbins/Dunkin Donuts. They're combined here. After waiting 5 minutes a young lady finally came over to take our order. She proceeded to start scooping the first ice cream and then left. She spoke to another employee who came over to help us.I guess she wasn't trained on how to scoop out ice cream. He then took our order and started to make the kids there sundaes. He finished 1 and almost finished the other and left while leaving the sundaes on the counter behind him.Without exagerating he starts to serve people on a line for coffee and donuts along with the young lady who started our order. This goes on for over 10 minutes, while i'm motioning to him that we're waiting. No response as the ice cream just lays on the counter. Finally i just walked out with the kids.I've already e-mailed Dunkin Donuts and gave them the store address and i'll be paying a visit to speak to the store manager later and ask for the regional manager also.I guess since there is more money spent on the coffee and donuts that takes priority over anything else. That was disgraceful.I'm very proud to say the kids took it well and they understood.

Everyone loves a customer like you. The manager would LOVE to hear about all of your complaints.

If that was me, the employees would be made into an ice cream sundae.

If the service is genuinely bad (and boy, this sounds like it was bad), I think it's worth it to complain. Of course, the catch is to remember to comment when it's good, too. (I got a nice coupon from Macy's once when I emailed them to praise the service I got from one of the salespeople and they said the good comment would go in her files, which made me happy)

I once had to complain to Starbucks because I found bits of a coffee stirrer and pieces of a rubber band in my frothy pseudo-coffee drink (this was before Chai Tea Lattes changed my world). My favorite part was when the customer service representative sheepishly asked, "Um... can I send you some coupons? Will you ever come back?" Hee hee.

Sign your complaint letter Rohit Patel for a quicker response.

93% of all UNsatisfied customers do NOT complain.

I am one to always inform the manager of when I get great service, as they never hear enough of that end either.

I have been in the customer service business for 17 years and I always want to hear about both great and terrible service.

Yep... he'll be 4 in July. I got married when I was 22 to a cheater and decided after a couple of years that I didn't want to stay with someone like that, so I've been divorced for almost 2 years now.
