Default Just when you thought!

You'd never have a horse like Lost in the Fog again. We'll he's not quite there yet, but Smokey Stover is developing into a pretty fast sprinter. Went by Bordanaro and Proud Tower too very easily at the q-pole, and went on to an easy victory. Great to see Greg Gilchrest and Mr. Aleo in the winners circle again...

I gotta say, I'm not much for handicapping on the looks of a horse in the paddock, etc. I didn't have much of an opinion on this race till I watched the post parade and say Smokey. The horse looked the way they say thy're supposed to look. He was on his toes, ears pricked, great stride...looked the picture of health and the picture of a horse that was gonna perform.
Made a wager on that alone (and I don't think I've ever done that before).
You're right, Gilchrist and Aleo deserve a "beast".

He must have looked super in the paddock upclose. I was only watching on the simalcast feed and they only showed the warmups for a second, and he looked fantastic in the post parade..Nice wager on the language aspect...

The horse really surprised me, super impressive. He has developed quickly.
I know that everyone will not want to believe it and I'll again be accused of being against LITF (i never was), but in his remarkable career, I don't believe that LITF ever beat horses like Bordonaro or Proud Tower Too.

I think this horse goes right to the top of the sprinter division. Happy for the connections as well.
