Default What's the scoop on Exhale?

Just read this on DRF....

Vibes are bad on Exhale. He reportedly did not work well on Sunday at Hollywood Park and he has not been seen on the track since. The jockey most likely to ride him in the Lewis is now searching for another mount. Trainer John Sadler has not responded to messages seeking clarification of Exhale's status. Exhale has been dropped from Derby Watch.

Not sure. He worked 6 furlongs in 1:13:00 (2/19). I woulnd't consider that a bad work.

I'm trying to find out. No luck as of yet though. As said in the article Sadler hasn't got back with the DRF on what Exhale's issue(s) is/are. He's had a couple of "minor" ankle problems before and I'm wondering if that isn't the problem again. I suspect we'll here something fairly soon as the Lewis Stakes rolls around and he's not in the picture for it.

He's undergoing surgery for a chip in his knee.
