Default Santa Anita - Sun 2/25

Will be a big pk6 pool today, so lets make some cash early to fund it...

1) Similar way we started the day yesterday, except this is a MSW 1mile turf event. #1 High Team Back ran a super race first time out, and while the connections and breeding are weak, his closing kick could be very useful in this race. If changed the name of the connections to someone more popular, this horse would be 3-1. #4 Colonial Event is a half to Memorette so they are expecting big things from him, and he looks ready. #6 Gary's Got Rythm is intesting, but I am not inclind to use here, as I have yet to see a winning move from him, he is always close but appears to lack heart. #7 Awesome Graf has speed, and the best figs in the race but trying turf and route today. He will have company upfront and not sure he is worthy of a play, will use in pk3 as a hedge. #8 Trulymet'smydaddy is 20-1 ML, and is very intesting for Patty Gallagher. His first race sprinting was impressive showing ability to rate and kick for home. He should love the grass and the route of ground - surprise package. #9 Ballistic Heat will be winging it up front and I think he will crack with A Graf pushing him. #10 General Bueno looks very tough here and has to be used. Using 1,4,8,10 add 7 in pk3

2) Tough race, and just have to take a stand and hope Im right, but not all that confident. #2 Hudson Bank has always had my eye as bomb potential and his last race was impressive but just not sure he is not a closing sprinter - either way I cant stop using him now. #3 Traffic Update continues to drop, which is a concern but I think he was just a little short off the bench last time out and he should have it his way up front. #4 Good Gold comes in with great form even though those last two didnt result in wins, they were great efforts fig wise. A bit concerned they are taking off the blinks but using. #6 Sprigzee scares me, but he hasnt been on form in a while...maybe the drop wakes him up, but I am taking a stand against in pk4 but might use in pk3

3) Ugly, Ugly race. Using 1, 3, 6 and keying the 1 & 6 in pk4. Watch out for the #6, intesting at 6-1. For a super bomb, use #4 at 30-1.

4) Ugh....need inside info for this race and I dont have it. The works on #1 Polyhmnia are not spectacular for the $500k filly but have to assume she can run. #3 Prime Catch is the "other" Baffert and looks to be working very well. #4 Into Reality is the fav and has to be used, but I have my questions. #5 Corage is a fighter, and really came back on in the lane last time out. Tactical speed just unsure if she is good enough. #6 Steelin comes first out for the high % Dollase barn with Gomez up, but I am playing against her as the dam has dropped two others and neither has won. Using 1,4,5 in pk4 and adding the #3 in pk3s.

1)1,4,8,10
2)2,3,4
3)1 (removed the 6 to keep the cost of the ticket down, hope I dont hate myself later)
4)1,4,5

1)1,4,7,8,10
2)2,3,4
3)1,3,6

1)1,8,10
2)2,3,4
3)1,6

Add pk6 ticket in a bit. Good luck to everyone, and add some thoughts on the pk6 if you have some picks.

F'N Mullins...ready with this one,but totally not ready yesterday with Anglo Saxon.Root,I don't care about the pace,neither trainer of the 1,or 4 (in th 1st race) had their horses prepared to run.If they showed any interest in running,then I would consider the pace as the problem,but they just didn't have their horses ready.

DAM IT - Why did I change my pk6 ticket....I know the rule about using the "other" baffert horse.....Idoit. And I like the rest of my pk6 ticket alot....crap crap crap.

At least alive to what could be a very profitable pk3...

1 = 2,239
3 = 463
7 = 412
10 = 1,036
12 = 707

90% of tickets just went up in flames (mine included.) How they can go 21 1/5 and keep going blows my mind.
