Default TV Program Note

For those who love college b-ball. The greatest game ever played is on right now on ESPN Classic. It is Duke vs UK from 1992. The Laetner shot.

I forget all the people on that Duke team. Antonio Lang, Grand Hill, Brian Davis, Hurley, Laettner - man they were stacked. UK had Mashburn and a bunch of homegrown KY kids that played with love and passion. Still have no clue how Laettner didnt get kicked out of the game for stepping on Timberlake's chest.

It took me a while to figure out the horse racing connection, but I think I got it now.....I once saw Coach K at Saratoga.

Was I close?

Was at the Hampton Inn in Pinehurst, NC. I was playing on the golf team at Christopher Newport University at the time. We were on our way to Florence, South Carolina to play in the Francis Marion Invitational at the Country Club of S.C. We stopped in Pinehurst and played at The Legacy Golf Links, designed by Jackie Nicklaus. Coach ordered Dominoes pizza for us that night. I even remember the 3 teamates who I watched it with that night.

Damn...15 years later and I still remember. Yet I have no idea what I had for lunch 3 days ago...
