Default Road to The Roses

We have three weeks left of races. We can draft two horses this week. Who is everyone picking up?

Doesn't matter for me as I missed 3 weeks of active changes and am a chicken in a pot..I'll likely add Curlin and Dominican..

I haven't decided if I want to try and pick up someone running in the Tesio and Derby Trial and hope that one of the horses already in my stable will win the derby or if I should go ahead and pick up a horse that is done with their preps.

Although right now I have in my stable already the top four I like. So I am only going to be able to use one more horse derby day.

Default Road to the Roses as of Now

As of now, who are the five horses you'll activate out of your stable for the big one, and who will you be leaving out that's probably in the Derby? Who was your worst pick as well? For me:

IN: any given saturday, curlin, nobiz like shobiz, circular quay, and street sense

OUT: hard spun

WORST: came to pass and day pass are tied for that honor

So far:

In: Great Hunter; Street Sense; ANy Given Saturday; Scat Daddy; (I have room for one more).

Out: Hard Spun

Bad choices: Ravel; Slew's Tizzy

My RTTR stable is so awful, I can't even comment. Needless to say, listening to certain posters here who are fans of Liquidity, Ravel, and Drums of Thunder didn't help. Liquidity in particular. Oh, and throwing Going Ballistic and Xchanger on my stable thinking that they would find a piece in some of those Oaklawn stakes was pure folly.

Oh, I can add Liquidity and Drums of Thunder on my BAD list too. Gotta look at the entries for the Tesio for who I should draft this week.

Drums of Thunder was my only non-contributer. I am going to try to find 2 in the Lexington to make up some ground. Gomez has turned out to be a poor jockey selection so far.

I tanked as usual this year. I'm not even sure I've got five horses going to the Derby.

I can't access my page right now but I know that Great Hunter, Curlin, Storm in May, and Street Sense are in my stable and will by default be activated on Derby Day.

I don't like the layoff. Only reason I am tossing him.

Check out the thread on the Lexington. Some were talking about Belgravia.

Since I only have 6 horses still under consideration to start, I'll wait on events for one to have lousy works, or step on a rock, or something. The 6 are Any Given Saturday, Circular Quay, Great Hunter, Hard Spun, Nobiz, and Street Sense.
