If you look at what this fatboy has done in the past(when men get on base,) it is pretty believable. That guy turns into one of the biggest chokers I have ever seen. With empty bases, the guy can throw past guys.Just overpowers them.If Garciaparra simply plays any 1st base at all in the 9th,then Fatboy probably strikes out the side. There really is that big of a difference with this guy.Problem is that this is a game of pressure. He has been pitching for what 15 years( this is what he does when he ain't eatin' ice cream sandwichs, fries, and a coke.) I mean,is this guy gunna learn to pitch with pressure? I thought last year was possibly due to not being in the Majors long enough. That's not it.He is a mental loser.People are very lucky to be given their gifts to do things in this life.Whatever it may be that they can do(and most of society can't do.)When they are mental losers(like this guy,) it is just like pissing on their maker. It shows a complete lack of respect for the one who gave him the gift in the 1st place. This guy is weak at the buffet line, and weak under any kind of pressure.Anybody who saw this game now knows why Grady Little (as a manager) is total dung.Seems like a nice enough guy,but to just watch this guy weaken like a women in front of him? Do nothing? Isn't like this fatboy hasn't been hit hard when men get on base. It's the norm(it's just that he is pretty good if they don't get on.)So,Grady has no reason(none) to think this fatboy would respond under the pressure that Garciaparra put him under(this stickfigure had the worst 10 minutes of his life last night.)Fatboy was gunna fold..o.k.? I have seen this guy enough to know this. The fact that Grady and Honeycut didn't know this,is the most obvious reason ever to be fired. He doesn't know this guy is weak.Timm, don't we both know Broxton was gunna do this? Once the boat leaves harbor, this guy ain't bringing it back.I have yet to see him pitch well under deep pressure. He decided to protect Saito's hamstring for one more day.O.K.,fine..this is June and this reliever is the only reason the Dodgers are over .500.So,protect him another day,but to go with Broxton for 9 batters in the 9th.You need to be fired.Sure as that sun gunna go down later on today. You need to go down too.

"Manager Grady Little said he had no intention of relieving Broxton. "

This above statement shows that this guy is a fraud as a manager. This pitcher can't pitch under pressure.I don't care who you bring in,but you don't keep staying with a choker severe like this fatboy. He made the decision to stick with a sure loser. This guy is useless with this kind of pressure, but Grady is too stupid or stubborn to see this? You got to go.I am sure of that.We can't easily change players. We can't give this fatboy a pair when the game is on the line, but we can sure as hell get rid of you.Under your watch, you have lost 6 in a row to SOCAL rivals Anaheim and San Diego. You go now.You have shown you are useless as a manager against good teams.Just go farm cotton.

I was shocked when the announcer(Charlie) said Broxton was 300 lbs! Maybe he's big-boned? He does throw 100mph....he's young,so maybe he'll mature. I'm not a Grady fan...but apparently the guys love him!

Can't pitch out of trouble very well at all.Actually,he is a pretty useful guy as a set -up pitcher, but as soon as he starts letting guys get on base, then that's it.He got to go. He is 90% of the time gunna put the skirt on.That's just the way it is.Grady and Honeysuck ain't figured this out.How many times does he have to show them before these 2 slow ones get it?

LOL....NO,I haven't made it out to the stadium this year. They have some new outrageous parking price out there..........Let other people pay for KENT and Nomar to fumble games away on D. I pay for a sports package on Dish. That's enough charity for that no-hittin' bunch of settlers.I come in here for sports still, but I simply found that betting the horses was way too much about luck than skill.Too much work for me to put in,and then have to see f'n chop chop be let alone for a theft on something ordinary. You just don't know who is gunna get the easy trip, and why they get it.Guess I am bored with it.

I hate hearing this sh*t. Always enjoyed your west coast handicapping. Seems you have a rare discipline that few of us possess.

KEV,people play for different reasons. If you know that reason(exactly) then you can sometimes replace horseracing.Once I replaced one challenge with another one,I had no desire to try to face 2 challenges at the same time.I would not call it willpower. You know I been betting since '82. Maybe I just got bored with it.
