5Dimes has been discussed in some depth here before:

http://derbytrail.com/forums/showthread.php?t=671

5Dimes offers a 10% extra payout on winning win bets and exotic bets at most big tracks. On the downside, they have odds caps: For example, between 50-1 and 55-1 on win bets, and 500-1 and 550-1 on tris. The first 50c or $1 of a tri bet is uncapped. (depends on size of track). The first $20 or $100 of a win bet is uncapped.

There's more info in the thread above.

For what it's worth... I use 5Dimes for playing the FL Cash-3. I hit several times last summer (at odds of 900 to 1) and they paid me straight away. I got the check in about 5 days. The problem is... it's really hard to get the money INTO your account. The only way is to physically go to your nearest Western Union and submitting cash (meaning GREEN MONEY / no credit cards). Western Union charges 12%,, so in order to send 5Dimes 100 bucks, you pay $112.

Most of the offshores will reimburse Western Union fees if depositing $300. I would check with the book.
