Sharp Aquos 32" LCD HD TV
http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-a...-32306283.html
I'm thinking about buying a HD TV to replace the 36" heavy and bulky as anyting Sony I lugged over to the new place only to have it quit working on me They are asking $300 more at Circuit City than they are online but wonder if I should risk having a TV delivered. They also pressure you into service agreements. is thta stupid or what? I have found thta electronics either go out imediately are not at all. any HD TV experts out there? opinions? btw.. I am limited to the size so 32" is all the bigger the TV can be

The 32" Sharp LCD for 799 is better, unless you're a serious "gamer"!

I strongly considered the Sharp and Samsung 32" LCD, but just recently bought the Olevia 32". The Olevia probably doesn't come with all the bells and whistles as the other name brands, but you can't beat the price. $550 at Office Depot. For what it's worth, Consumer Reports also gives the Olevia high marks.
Which ever brand you ultimately select, you will definitely enjoy. |

I'm sure it will make a difference when I get it home and have it hooked up to my system and get a HD or Blue Ray disc player.. Just find it hard to pull the trigger also. I have no TV to watch at the moment.. But $1,000 + is hard to justify right now.

Wing, I have the 52" Sharp Aquos, it is awesome and I would recommend it, probably even better picture on the 32", one thing I would recommend, if you are getting a flat screen make sure you get 1080p HD resolution, you will know why when you watch a program that airs at 1080p HD, incredible. Sharp Aquos has been rated as one of the best LCD HD flat screens, might be worth a few extra bucks. Good luck, you will not regret getting one!

it doesn' work I hadn't had cable in years and now I know that it don't work with cable even though it is cable ready I ordered digital cable with the Horse Racing Channel so.. time for a new TV one thing that bothered me is the Samsung next to it looked better. While the numbers tell you that the Sharp is better. 10,000 to 1 contrast vs only 8,000 to 1 for the Samsung and 1080p vs 700+ something.. I can only wonder if it was something they did to the display model. Spending $1,000+ for a TV is really difficult for me. I want to be sure. I can't see this TV anywhere other than Circuit City Anyway.. the positive comments are reassuring maybe next month if I can stand it for that much longer.

we have a 20" and 15" sylvanias and really like both of them.
we'd recently looked at a 32 and 36" phillips, both seemed really nice. had you thought to check out sears or a locally owned electronic store?

Sears beats you up over the service agreements. I almost didn't buy my last TV from them.
