Default Marasco v Miss Finland

should be a cracker tomorrow. Im rooting for Marasco but if we have a finish like last weeks between Haradasun and El Segundo, that would be fine.

well I was in a Tab in Sydney before Marasco faced off against the Cat and these guys were dissing Marasco saying he wasnt that good etc etc.. so I wanted him to shut them up and he did. Tomorrow will be tough and the Cox Plate will be even tougher but I think he's going the right way. Im getting the Might and Power book actually before I leave!

Yeah this should be a great race.

I'd love to see Eskimo Queen run on well late for 3rd too, to show she's coming along nicely ahead of the Cups.

I liked his chances at first but that's a terrible draw for a horse with his running style. I'd love to see him win but can't see it happening from such a wide gate unfortunately.

I was disappointed too, but his fresh-up run over here was good when he was 4th behind Seachange in the Mudgway and only beaten about 2 lengths.

He's a bit inconsistent, always has been, but at his best I think he can win a Group race in Australia. But not tomorrow with that gate.

Miss Finland / Maybe Better / Maslins Beach

( I know, no way... whatever. That's my pick).

Oh yeah, and good luck to Railings tomorrow.

Miss Finland was second, Marasco third and Eskimo Queen (very unlucky) fourth.

Surprising result! Was a great ride on the winner though, made sure he was too far in front for anyone to run him down (but they were all eating into the margin at the end).

jocks on marasco and miss finland paid too much attention on each other and forgot that there were other horses in the race.. Marasco was very keen early on and even though he looked tired at the end, Id give him another try at 1800 or further.

Jokers Wild ran a bad last in the Sir Rupert Clarke, and it turns out he suffered a possibly career-ending injury.

I hope we see that big white face on the track again.
