Default Chipper Jones

Am I the only one that was sad that he didn't break the MLB record last night? Now I know I call him Goober, but he is a good ball player. I think he deserved to break it. Not because I am a braves fan, but I think it would have been nice for him to have that record.

Now Barry? Who cares if he breaks a record.

I like Chipper very much and wish he had gotten it. Thats a neat little record and its no disgrace being tied for it. 14 straight games with at least one extra base hit, wow.

Larry from DeLand
I vote yes, I'm glad he didn't break it
my relatives in the ATL call me up
always wanting to chat about the Braves
I'd rather chat about dust mites having sex in my pillows
wake me when they pass .500
no offense Buffy (or Larry from DeLand), well I mean no relief pitching
hey whorstman, are you a big Norris Hopper fan?
Triple-A baseball is great, where else can you meet Howard Johnson?

"Weaver, who missed his turn because of biceps tendinitis but also is expected to return this weekend, made a special request to a team official to have the video crew show brother Jeff's first start for the St. Louis Cardinals on the scoreboard during batting practice so he could see it. They did it just in time for Jered to see his older brother and former Angels teammate give up a grand slam to Atlanta's Brian McCann."

LOL-Seems like one of these Weavers should have been called Jedd. They could pass for old Jedd Clampett's Grandsons.

You are entitled to your opinion as I am mine. Braves have offense, need a relief pitcher yes. Hubby and I had a long discussion (well almost argument) on how Smoltz should just take one for the team and go back to being a closer. He was damn good at it. Not that he isn't as a starter, but the Braves haven't been able to find a replacement for him.

I have no idea who Norris Hopper is. He plays for the Bats, huh? Had to google. If he's any good he'll be in Cinn. soon enough. Bats can't keep anyone any good for long.

Well, the Braves can start winning again after today. I think Chucky or John pitch tomorrow, but I am not sure. I haven't looked that far ahead yet.

Hey, you all said you wanted someone to take papa down. Why not me?
