Only on Derby Trail would "Moose on the Loose! in Fonda N.Y." be the most active thread of the day. HHH, just give the poor thing a Utica Club, that's all it is looking for.

We do. We have 2 bulls, 1 cow with 1 calf and 1 cow with 2 calfs. We have a guy from wildlife up here tracking them.

They're only dangerous if you chase them.

He or she remained against a fenced area for 4 hours until NYS D.E.C. officials could tranquilize the animal and remove it to safety. This moose and two others have been reported in the area the past week. He or she may have been the one that was "tagged" and place in Northern Saratoga country last Fall after it was seen swimming around the Hudson River in Waterford N.Y.
