TUES - Election Day card at CD
Just glancing the card over and looking to single #7 Holy Humor in Race 7 (6 Furlongs) in the PK4 for Pletcher. He showed speed in debut before tiring going 6 1/2 at KEE. Young horses improve tremendously in their 2nd start and it's one of my favorite angles.

Actually I was talking about Dallas Stewart's horse but my horse is pretty good too. 6 furlongs may not be an ideal distance for him but he trains like a pretty good horse.

Field came up really strong, at least you will know where you stack up. I can't take a Dallas firster. 4% with 91 horses. Then again I have a hard time betting Dallas at any time. Biggest underacheiver on the KY circuit. JMO |

Churchill Downs- I know the selections are chalky, but lets hope we make some extra jingle to attack the PK6 at the Big A on Wednesday.
R7 #7 Holy Humor - Showed speed in debut before tiring and should improve off that effort. #4 Credit Only - The conventional dirt might do the trick. #5 Sacred Journey - Stewart 1ster looks ready to fire off of a nice string of works. R8 #3 Star of Luvina - Well rested after impressive graduation. #4 Pure Star - Ran like an odds on favorite should in last and any improvement could find her back in the winner's circle. R9 #1 Trimaran - Frankel runner was last seen in the G2 Jefferson and looms large with this group. #10 Wise River - Has been knocking on the door at this level, but looking for 1st win in over 2 yrs. #9 Slam My Heart - Last two turf tries put him right in the mix. R10 #5 Dr. W - Asmussen has a knack of striking when they switch to his barn. #8 Cape Hatteras - Sharp in both career starts and has been placed in the right spot. #3 Chief Wildcat - Faced a tougher group at HAW and adds Lasix. PK4 - 4 5 7 with 3 4 with 1 9 10 with 3 5 8 = $54 Good Racing Luck

Chuck feel free to let us know who the best 4-5 horses are in the 7th today at CD as I can narrow it to about 8 different possibles after fairly easily handicapping the previous 6 races which were not exactly a Saturday card.
With smoke signals like Zito and Kent going separate ways on this one, 20% first time sires, Dams who are 6 for 9 with multiple stakes winners, this one is a sugar headache just narrowing it to 5.......how about the big white man trainer help the poor cappin crowd out with a few insights of what looks appetizing in the early morning that doesn't translate to PP's, sheets, Beyer's, Tomlinson's or Formulessthanusefull4.......Hooves is away and we need some Ky schoolin here!! |

Bonehead ride of the day has to go to my man Bejarano on Trimaran. Way to use him up even before you got to the lane. Positioned him outside for nothing, apparently. Yes, sour grapes. Oh well, live to fight another day.
