You know, the Pats have the 49ers first round draft pick!

How epic would it be if the Pats go 19-0, win the Super Bowl for the 4th time in 8 years, and get the number one overall pick in the draft in a year where they had their own draft pick taken away from them for "cheating" ?

Would that not be awesome!?
I can honestly say that the 49ers looked as bad as any team that I have ever seen last night. That was a frightenly bad performance.

even if they have home field locked up late in the season i think they play to best the 72 dolphins. don shula did all he could to make sure of that.

You are right about that!

san diego. you may laugh at this but cleveland.

washington has allowed 193 points in 9 games. 52 of those were to ne in 1 game.

if they lose focus they can lose.

i guess what i believe is all the belicheat and fossils waiting with champagne glasses keeps them focused.

Yes - they own the 49ers first round pick.

they lost their own pick. they still have the one they acquired through the trade.

btw: losing the #32 overall pick (assuming they win the the championship) is no small punishment.

That blow will be softened some when the 49ers look like a lock to seal up a top five pick for them.

Maybe even #2 overall behind the Dolphins.

It really is a shame what has transpired for the 49ers this year. They had playoff aspirations at the beginning of the year, only to be leveled by losing 7 straight. The real kick in the d!ick, is the aforementioned draft pick loss. they traded it away with the thinking it would have been in the low 20's. Now, as it stands, it could be a franchise changing pick.
Hypothetically, had they retained the pick, which direction would they have gone?? They have many glaring needs. Pretend your the GM, which road do you go?

BTW, my Birds beat the Pats by 6. (Insert my face, covered up to my nose with my shirt collar, horse laughing myself.) No prayer. The Eagles defense is too lax and would be swallowed up by Brady's 3 step drop. He's going to expose Jim Johnson's blitz schemes as fraudulant, which is exactly what he is.

It seems pretty unlikely I would think.

As a team - they have 10 TD's this year - two less than Randy Moss has by himself.

Their week 1 win over Arizona was like a miracle that they pulled that one out. They would need a similar heist of a game to get a W i'd think.

They can't exactly line up and out play anyone from the looks of it.
