What a game!!!!!! Up 3-0 in the first, let it slip to a 3-3 tie, take a 4-3 lead, let that slip to a 4-4 tie and overtime, and to still fight back again and win it in overtime shows some heart.

What a game? More like what a debacle. While it may have been a wee bit exciting, the goaltending was atrocious, at best. ND should be in church all day thanking their lord they got out of their with a win, and Michigan's coaches should be out recruiting for new goaltenders and some better D-men.

Michigan's goalie was horrible. BC 5 ND 1

Notre Dame's goalie wasn't much better. Yes it was sloppy goaltending, but it was still a fun game to watch. Michigan twice grabbed momentum back, and twice Notre Dame answered back.

Let's face it, it was a "down-year" for the University of Minnesota (although they got wreck by BC just like every other team in the NCAA tourney). .

U. of Minnesota hockey is the only thing as a MN sports fan I can gloat about...
