Isn't Denis of Cork unlikely to go? Looks like I was premature in saying Halo Najib was out.

as for the jones fillies, i now look for eight belles to run on oaks day. and since she's their best, i'd be surprised to see any of his others run on saturday. as for the bluegrass beyers...i don't know that it matters. i'll be shocked if that race is in any way a key to the derby. |

Doesn't the owner still def. want to bring Denis of Cork, he just doesn't think he will have the earnings? I think if he can get in he will def. be in the Derby.

Would fourth in the Lexington bump Tomcito ahead of Denis of Cork?

Looks like Denis should come in at number 20.

Man, there are some horses very high on that list that in a normal year would have absolutely no business making the gate on May 3 in L-ville...

Then again, it's not like they're keeping someone who has any more of a chance from entering the race.

I'd like to see a point system to qualify. But I would use points earned as a 2YO.

Just read that the owner of Eight Bells is considering entering her for the Derby. At this point, my $$'s on her.

She has absolutely no shot. . . That would really annoy me if they send her.
