Tiger is all pissed about his play and I guess most people would agree he didn't play well this week....but he ends up second. Guess that just shows how wonderful he really is.

This one will drive Tiger crazy. Immelman would've choked bigtime if Tiger was close.

He missed TWO putts from 2ft or less (one Sat and one Sun) and 3 putted late on Sunday. There's the 3 shots he lost by right there.... he's got a reason to be pissed.

Tiger still outshot everybody who started in front of him.Fact is he played poorly this week(for him,) and still got 2nd.He's so good that 2 things have to happen for him to lose majors:

1)He must putt very poorly

2)Somebody else has to play the tournament of their career

I've never seen Trevor play this solid, but it's not a fluke. He won it wire to wire ,and to do that it takes somebody who has their mind right.

Putts for the week

Trevor - 112
Tiger - 120
Cink - 117
Snedeker - 113

Of the 10 players that finished under par for the tournament, only one player had more putts than Tiger....and that was Mickelson with 121

Yeah,he was brutal making putts.Would like to say it's hard to believe,but it's believable(he couldn't make a putt here in 2006 either.)

From what my sources on tour tell me, he and the lord are on first name basis.

He putted like sh*t this week...no doubt. But he made some curious other errors as well. The first one that comes to mind is his 2nd shot on 14 today. That shot must land left of the flag..its the only way to get it close. If im not mistaken he had 7 iron in his hand and he EASILY had to miss his target by 25-30 feet. Im not talking where his ball ended up, but where his pitch mark into the green was. He has to hit the ball 10-12 feet left of the pin and let it feed right to the hole, but instead, his ball lands 20 feet right of it. HUGE error

Anyone catch Tiger after he put it in the woods yell "Oh Tiger.......BUTT!!!"? Cracked me up, reminded me of Spalding in Caddyshack. I had to rewind it to make sure he really just said that.

The door was wide open.
The Tiger never left the cage.
He made that real long putt.
Got all pumped.
He hit some awesome shots to put
himself in position.
Nada.

Is this adding more credence to
the Tiger can only win as a frontrunner
in the big ones...

One can only imagine Oracle cackling
right now. Guy was totally stuck on this
theme.

If he doesn't have a pretty low round in one of the 1st 2 days of the tournament(relative to the field,)then he probably isn't gunna be able to find enough to win.I thought he might be able to find enough this week(because the guys in front of him didn't have experience winning majors.)Actually,he went 4 under on the weekend, and the winner played just even par on the weekend. The problem was that even par this weekend was pretty good, and myself and Kev didn't think Immelman or the others could do that.We were wrong,Immelman was very tough.Tougher than I thought he could be.Of course, it helped that Tiger wasn't able to get pressure on him,but still, even par was very good this weekend.

If you had told me 8 under wins the thing
after the third round... I would have thought
it would have to be Tiger.
