Don't you guys think it would be amazing to first hand see what nature is creating, some with such force like a tornado. I am getting pumped up in my cubicle just thinking about it right now.

i've been on the outer edge of a small tornado and NEVER saw the funnel for the rain, lightening, hail and arcing power lines.
i've also ridden out a hurricane. i have no interest in doing either again.

Strippers dont kill people and ruin peoples homes and livelihood. Wait....Some do....I feel ya on the adrenaline rush, I just wouldnt want to be anywhere near the core of these storms, getting hit with cows, hail balls and stoplights and such. Ask Helen Hunt, I mean Jo, its a harrowing situation to be in.

PS. I hate strippers, hooks and escorts...Something about them getting payed to perform just makes for a soft peter.....More of the next-door housewife kind of guy, as Im sure we all are.

....No you don't.
I've been there and done that...... don't EVER want to do it again.
As they say, be very careful what you wish for. As someones sig says that what hi-def tv is for...

Hope all are fine in the earthquake area.....would be devasting especially right now if it affected the Mississippi River. Strange it wasn't the New Madrid, hope it's not a pre-cursor of what may come.

I love strippers, probably one of my favorite types of human beings, as long as they are female, all the way female

The fault that was affected was the ending tip of the New Matrid, why it has its own name, I don't know.

I understand what you are saying, and especially because you were effected by the N.O. floods. Floods are probably the one I would rather not deal with, but I personally, would love to experience an encounter with a tornado or hurricane, obviously in 'somewhat' controlled settings.

I think it is different if you KNOW what you are getting involved in, compared to NOT knowing what to expect. I know that if I go chasing a damn tornado that one it is going to be real wild and 2) I would have the small chance of losing my life.

I could lose my life driving to work tomorrow, or sleeping tonight, and I am the type that wants to experience things first hand so I can make my own opinions. Kinda like how when your dad tells you that the pan is hot but you still grab it. That is how I operate. While I consider people's opinions, I would rather gain the experience so then form my own opinions. Now, I will readily admit that this way of doing things, 1) is pretty stubborn and 2) can get you in trouble. But at least I know when I am talking about something, it is from experience, and not 3rd person.

Seems like you could do this in several places in Chicago...no?

Information here.

Looks like the answer to your question is "because they said so."

Pertinent info:

Quote:
West Salem was not incorporated until 1857. When the Moravians first began arriving in the area, and Martin Hauser realized there was potential for a settlement, the group chose the name New Salem, since they had traveled to Illinois from Salem, North Carolina. However, when it came time to establish a post office, it was discovered that Illinois already had a New Salem, Menard County, Illinois located near Springfield, where Abraham Lincoln had lived and operated a store. Accordingly, the settlers had to choose a new name and decided to call their village West Salem, because it lay west of Salem, North Carolina, where they had come from. To the confusion of travelers ever since, this left West Salem east of Salem, Illinois, incorporated two years earlier. Records of the Illinois Secretary of State show that the official incorporation of West Salem took place on February 8, 1857.

So you are saying that you prefer to fool around with married women...well i guess that could be another way of putting yourself in harms way!

Was talking about in an attraction sense. Love those soccer moms. I don't do to others what I wouldnt done to myself. I, admittedly, cheated on my then girlfriend (now fiancee), 2 years ago. Made me feel like crap to see how much it broke her up when I told her. After that, my conscience kicked in, and would never elevate past flirtation.
