Default News flash: 'Bar' back in Derby

Just got off the phone with Satish...

He said after his cup of coffee, he logged on to Cal Racing this morning and watched 'Bar' run up the track behind the great Autisim Awareness in his dirt race...

That performance has embolden him to subject his horse to his obligatory triple crown race beating in the Derby instead of the Preakness.

"Getting beat 15 lengths in the Derby instead of 12 in the Preakness allows us an extra two weeks to freshen him up for a Swaps Stakes showdown with El Gato Malo" Satish said.

Awesome! Although I think Behindatthebar deserves to be in it more than Cowboy Cal if we're talking Pletcher trainees.

I'm sure the Days Inn in Jeffersonville isn't full yet. Heck, Mr. Warren could probably buy the entire hotel for less than $86,000.

Bel Air Sizzle, a 3yo filly, won a 1 1/16 turf n1x race on April 24 (Thursday), and she ran second in the Melair S (1 1/16 on Cushion) at Hollywood Park on Sunday, promoted to first on the dq of the first finisher. A mare in Britain won 2-mile hurdle races on successive days at Ayr a couple of weeks ago. And he's worried about 3 races in 30 days?

Got me an extra $100 at 41-1 before odds tanked. Thanks for early heads up!

just put a nice little sum on Denis at 50-1 on betfair.. Him or Colonel John winning would be a nice Irish touch in the Derby..
