i don't think his run raised any questions. only question i would have is why on earth anyone would choose to bet him in that race.

It wasn't exactly a rocket ship pace he was setting although he was in the wind initially. 4 of the top 5 horses ran pretty near the lead indicating it wasn't a death defying pace. Migliore did everything he could...the horse wasn't good enough is pretty much all there is.

He didn't look very good training leading up to the race. He looked a little "rough" in his gallops. Most of the good handicappers I know thought the horse had very little chance. When Mike Welsch was asked which 5 horses had no chance, he named BBJ. I don't know what the big surprise is. The horse pretty much ran to his odds(29-1).
