Yea... I think Fast Talking is the horse who can ensure a faster pace, he was absolutely strangled back in the Tesio and if they hit roll, he could move along at a good clip.

Agreed about the ride last time....but he's hardly a bullet by any stretch of the imagination. And....he has very little ability.

The Trainer for the Japanese entry 'Kazuo Fujisawa' is currently 10th in the Trainer standings in Japan as of the end of April 2008. His strike rate is a respectable 16.2% - from 74 entries.

Having watched a few dirt races from Japan the past few years, My opinion is Japanese runners are stronger in their turf form as opposed to their dirt form and if the entry is overbet, they must be taken on. A 950K yearling that breaks his mdn by 11 1/2 lengths could be any kind but off the shipping and lack of experience he would be hard to take at 2-1 or less.

However if he "CD" does well today, he looks like a very interesting Belmont horse with his run all day pedigree...

important track configuration.

========================S
C=======F

1Turn Mile & 1/8th

A horse like Mint Lane has been gaining an advantage immediately by breaking very well. By the time turn1 hits, he has the lead.

Today gate "quickness" iss less important

I agree, I think he is a horse that may have some upside whereas some of the others are going to stay where they are. All he needs is a little more improvement and a honest pace to run at to be close from what I can see.
