Default Lieberman loses primary

Here's an interesting editorial about it-- thoughts, from our many smart liberals, conservatives and in-betweeners?

Whatever else happens, I think it's awesome that Washington got even a small wake-up call that being an incumbent doesn't automatically mean job security. I think people are fed up with the people who've been in charge (Dems and Republicans both) and are starting to show it at the voting booth. And that's a great thing. Get out there and vote, everyone!

he will come back and win as an independent in my opinion, last time I was shocked at an election lost is when Foley lost to Nethercutt here in my state of WA.

It's about time. Like you said, both parties have failed us. Time to shake things up a little...

Seems to me that the people, of "We the People..." are making their voices heard.
This is what needs to happen so their interests are considered, not debates about "intelligent design", "flag burning", or so many non-issues.
I say let the people speak...and if by voting they kick out the bums that don't address their needs and/or concerns, so be it.
