Ha ha, that's your call.

Here's one and sorry... nothing to do with racing but I thought it needed a caption.

Here's one that really doesn't need a caption...but feel free.
It's not funny, just real.

I can't think of one, but I'm just wondering... is this a picture of the last time Freddy Fong actually won a race?

(So Cal people will understand...)

You write one, DTS!

"Ride 'em Cowboy" or "Look at the Smile"

Joshua Goldstein's story...a little boy from NJ that's fighting a very difficult disease. That's him on the horse...smiling like he's riding one down the stretch, leading by twenty lengths.
Courage comes in little packages too.

My Miss Storm Cat,
I was too embarassed to reply to this at first, but self deprecation is always the most splendid form of humor. My first thought upon opening that photo was how funny the guy looked, my second thought was My God I own the same EXACT tie. When I was in Louisville two years ago someone was selling those ties and I bought one. I am quite embarassed.

Kind Sir...

Not only are you a gentleman and a scholar, but now i see you're a man of honesty, of intergity, as well.

There's a big difference between buying a silly tie on a whim and going out in public dressed as a walking tribute to a bad LSD trip.

Do you own similar pants? How about the jacket? The hat?

No? You're good! No reason to be embarrassed!

I laughed when I read your post- in a GOOD way. Thanks for sharing as I needed a laugh at this point. I think all Ace fans really needed a laugh at this point. Where's that weeping smiley face again?

Fondly,

My Miss Storm Cat

P.S. Attn: Derby Trail members..... he already has one. We'll have to think of something else to get Oracle for his birthday.....

I have only worn the tie twice, the first time at the 2005 Kentucky Derby on the day that I purchased it, the second time this past Derby week on Oaks Day. I am sorry to say that after viewing that picture I will have to retire the tie. I would not be able to put it around my neck without flashbacks to the picture shown here.
I do not own a jacket or pants of that nature, although as a child in the 70's my mother apparently thought that dressing me in plaid pants for my first communion would be very trendy. The fact that the pictures from that day still exist and have been shown to people(complete with 70's "bowl haircut") is something that is mildly amusing.

And the caption that immediately sprang to mind was
"Ernest Borgnine goes to the track on acid"

My Miss Storm Cat,
I just took a picture of the very same tie that the gentleman in the picture is wearing. I really can't believe that I own it.
