Default Movies and TV shows.....

i would like to know some of your all time favorite horse related movies or shows....anything is fine, from mr. ed to seabiquit!

old school question... does anyone remember a tv show called the "american horseman"?
it was on in the late 60's or 70's. sunday mornings about 6:00am...

mine is the fresh prince of bel air... when they go to the race track, and carltons favorite horse is going to be put down, so they buy it and bring it home, uncle phil finds it in the living room and gets very upset.

The odd couple when Oscar is getting tips from a midget groom that is too short to be a jockey is an absolute classic. That is the episode where my signature came from.

I liked The Sting with their OTB setup. Past posting, using the Western Union line. Gondorph was tremendous.

McHale's Navy PT 109 (1964) when their horse is smuggled into the track under Capt. Leadbottom's nose.

The race horse on the boat is classic!!

Tim Conway was about as funny a dufus as TV ever had....

I think I watched Phar Lap at least once a week as a kid. Man From Snowy River was a favorite too.

I also read every single Saddle Club book, which I saw they made into an awful TV show.
