Sorry...no spin today.
in case you somehow missed it, the theme of the ticket is that they're mavericks, they make independent decisions and challenge the party line when appropriate.

speaking about no spin, she did not say she wants to go after terrorists in Pakistan.

I think we need to ad "deaf" to dumb and blind in your case.

"charlie" asked "cuda" if she would go into pakistan to chase after terrorists. She said she would. McCain said that we cant.

Do you want the quotes or the video?

i hear you with the maverick thing...but foreign policy is important. Its one thing to go against party line (although McCain has voted with Bush 90% of the time...and those are McCAINS own words) but this would be a new one if two people on THE SAME TICKET cant agree on foreign policy as pertains to national security.

Then again, its hard to even have an idea of what foreign policy is when you have only been overseas ONCE in your entire life like Mrs. Palin. Maybe on her next trip visiting Track (stupid ****ing name) she can listen to a book on the Bush Doctrine. Maybe someone can even give her one of those world maps where you can color in the countries.

the washington post says don't blame palin for any confusion, they count seven bush doctrines. i wonder if bush can even describe the bush doctrine?

there is no quote from Palin saying she would go into Pakistan chasing terrorists. she had the sense to not be pinned down and define what action the US should or should not take. i think she said all options should be on the table.

on the contrary, it was none other than commander Obama himself who made the irresponsible statement last year the US should invade Pakistan.

Yeah, except that's not what he said.

And we should be concentrating on Pakistan, instead of this ridiculous crusade against nobody in Iraq.

So you have no problems with the possibility of mass casualties in Pakistan? You do realize they have nukes?

here is the quote.

"When I am president, we will wage the war that has to be won," he told an audience at the Woodrow Wilson Center in the District. He added, "The first step must be to get off the wrong battlefield in Iraq and take the fight to the terrorists in Afghanistan and Pakistan."

pretty clear to me.

How can anyone be "wrong" when there is no opinion stated? All there is a link that shows that Obama would chase terrorists into Pakistan.

My point was that he never said we should 'invade' Pakistan, and that acting on al-Qaeda in Pakistan, militarily or otherwise, is what should've been done to begin with instead of this historically embarrassing, horrendous, catastrophic debacle in Iraq.
