Timm just make sure you position yourself for the Free Stuff that is coming..along with lower taxes.

That is unless you are outside of the 95%...but even then you should be able to get the free health care.

...and the good news is with a veto proof Congress they will be playing McFadden & Whitehead for every social program possible. You just have to make sure you sign up and get in line.

I might even go back to college and get my Doctorate because it might be free!

Dr. Geeker..I like the sound of that

I don't think you have to take the free stuff if you don't want to..but then again ..I guess they could pass a law that says you have to.

Kind of like making small business people provide health care to all workers..but if you now plan just to be a worker and not a small business owner you are OK.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWusOhZpq7w

interesting historical context.

this is an ad that the johnson campaign produced but never ran.

goldwater had renounced the endosement and they assumed the press would point this out and people were smart enough to understand it was meaningless. they were afraid of a backlash.

fast forward 44 years and you have the mccain campaign running ayers as an issue.

i don't know if the johnson campaign overestimated our intelligence or mccain's is underestimating it. or maybe johnson's people just calculated they didn't need it. they were romping and that's a big diff with mccain.

it still pains me to see a decent man like mccain reduced to this level of debate. it has to be hard for him.

He comes from a different generation - they were taught respect for others. I saw it in my Mom & Dad (they passed recently in their 80's) - but now you see the lack of respect for everything and everyone on a daily bases.

MCCain showed some serious class over the last two days. Thumbs up to John McCain for regaining some lost perspective and showing that he hasnt lost his dignity and honor.

It's OK..think of it as musical chairs..just make sure you get to the seat before the other guy.

As incentive..think of DALA as the person next to you trying for the seat

yeah, reagan was going to be the death of us all..clinton i think was also supposed to turn us into a UN satellite...still waiting for the exodus of dems from eight years ago when bush came in.
we survived carter, we can survive anything.

in other words, don't be silly.

i'm sure he knows that whatever happens to him he has responsibilities to the party and there will be close congressional, senate, state officer, and state legislative races where a motivated base is key.

it has to kill a part of him to do it though.

he'd have been a great president. i really think both parties nominated the best candidates available.

i feel bad he has to go through the kabuki of the next 3 weeks. he deserves better.
