People say what they will about Yankee fans and I know the rep has been earned for the most part. But can you imagine Yankee fans under ANY circumstances booing jeter? Mo? Posado?

Booing Mo? Come on. Never. He has gotten shelled and they dont boo him.

Posada gets a lifetime pass as well.

If you are a class guy and win titles as a Yankee, they dont boo you.

I actually disagree with you on this one. I hate to defend Sawx fans, but Ortiz has been terrible this postseason and their booing was pretty mild, especially since Youkilis was coming up and it could've mostly just been those annoying "Yook" chants. I also have heard Jeter booed by Yankee fans during extended slumps. It hasn't happened often, but it's happened.

hmmmm. Admittedly i havent watched every game but we are die hards and we have the baseball package. I have never seen it but it doesnt mean its never happened.

Im pretty sure theyve never done it in a playoff game.

Regardless of how poorly papi is hitting, he deserves a lifetime pass for what he has brought to that town.

I pulled a search and you guys are right. I stand corrected. Sorry sox fans.

Yankees fans can be just as thankless.

Shameful.

I can't see booing Big Papi. It's ridiculous. Oh well, it's over. Good Luck Rays. You've earned it.

A thing of beauty to see Papeldouche absorb the final blow. Outstanding.

Congrats to the Rays and their fans They deserve it. Clearly the better team of the two this year.

Great to see BJ Upton playing so well. I love rooting for a hometown guy. Hope he is able to bring home a WS ring.

Bigs...I will PM you on our bet.

Okay, one of you has to explain why this guy is still throwing. 2 run home run and a double.

Full count now with the tying run at 2nd.
