Browns OLB Kamerion Wimbley has only five QB pressures this season.
The Browns claim Wimbley has improved against the run, but their rush defense still ranks 28th in the NFL. Wimbley officially has four sacks, but one was a gimme in Week 15 against the Eagles. He had 11 sacks to go with 16 hurries as a rookie, and five sacks on 20 pressures in his second season.

Maybe a kick in the a$$ will get this guy going back to his rookie style.

If they can complete the trade they're working on, they're right with Boston the title, maybe even ahead of them..... trying to get Shawn Marion for Varejao and a couple of the other role players.

Its always fun to disagree on bball.
Imo you nailed this one though.
With Mo and West on the floor they
move the ball very well.

And the team is much deeper.
Lebron is almost being forced to save his legs.
This is Cleveland's chance to actually
win something. This team can beat the
Celtics and Lakers. Of course they could
also lose to the Hawks.

hawks are a scary team. No one wants to see them in the playoffs. cavs have a complete team and lots of depth though LBJ, Williams and Igor are indispensible

You got 5 months ahead. They are really good and james is the best player in the game regardless of what Morty says. if doc Rivers can win a championship than brown surely can.

I think you could be right Cannon, the Cavs may be the team this year. They would be undefeated without Mike Brown

Looks like Lerner is meeting with Cowher this week. Im sure Cowher will want final say on personnel decisions as well which isnt a bad thing as long as you can find a decent GM without a big ego.

Cowher could step into a great situation here. This team has the players to win games right away.

interesting... since they're meeting to talk about it this afternoon (what I heard while in OH yesterday morning before I drove back). Cowher's only interested if coach AND gm (he played for Paul Brown in Cle).

If they don't get Cowher, then from what I've heard is that they'll hire another GM and get Schotenheimer back as coach (which I'd only approve of if he burns his prevent defense... drove me nuts watching him in his 1st go around in Cle).

I don't think so, becuase I think he wants to be a GM too. Tannenbaum isn't going anywhere (yet), it seems that he did a good job this year. Despite the final result he made some improvments to the roster.
It's going to be interesting to see the candidates, not to mention if the ax falls on other guys such as Del Rio in Jacksonville.

I also don't see Mangini getting another head coaching job in the NFL in the near future.

Bad remembering names but heard on Cleveland radio looking at bringing in GM from NE and he's got a college coach he's close to that would come in. Cowher is not going anywhere from what I hear in the Carolina's

Yeah, espn just said that Cowher said he was not interested in the Browns job. I guess there is such a thing as loyalty.

"mangenius" is now "manjobless". Things change quickly in new york.
