weds 4 pm .head to airport with mrs hooves and the boys..realize we have way to many bags of stuff..45 bucks extra for check bags..smooth flight to atlanta.get off plane and airport is very empty?..grab bite to eat..load on next plane for reno.. odd man out seat gets me the outside of three..away from the family.win lotto of the infant kid who screams and takes a baby dump.. mother looks to be 17 and is clueless as to any care..of course she has to get up 18 times and 4.5 hr flight seems to take 18 hrs..on flip side the plane has sat hook up and kids/wife are happy.. on final to reno winds are wicked..plane looks out of control..i lie to kids say'they do this alot'.. .go get rent a car.. roads to mtn are 'chains or 4wd only..wife made reservation ..4door sedan.. 'you have chains' i ask goth chick behind rental desk 'no but we have 4 wheel dr. jeep.. 50 bucks a day extra.. . well ok we take it..we need to get up and go ski christmas day..kids dont want to help get bags to rental......what else in new..

check in 11.30 pm..hotel looks old i find out its harrahs flagship..look up and wow im in china..95 perc of guests are asian.. no big deal just wierd..kids burnt out..they crash..mrs hooves and i head to the tables..1 fn table open.. packed ..f it..crash...

part 2

get up christmas day.. get stuff together.. find out from bell hop that i 80 closed from 4 feet of snow.. plan b local hill open mt rose..head that way as soon and we hit any incline.it dumps..blizzard cond..we roll on..try to remember how to drive on snow ice..mad skills take over..up and curve up and curve.. hairy as hell..follow plow truck..make it to top.. turning point of day vote goes up.. ski or snow board..im down with it boys want to board..so we all get geared up..no clue how to ride.. people at mtn..very cool with all get free lesson and head up the mtn..visability 30 ft..at best.. still fng pretty..snow mtns its all good.right..wrong.. must have crashed 60 times on 1 run.. 10k the air is a bit thin..almost have a fn grabber.. out of breath tired as hell.and cant do it..we all were bad.and beat up.. end up walking down part of the hill after face plant..im done .want to bitch slap shawn white.... .. head back to hotel..thinking im getting old....

re group and go to steak house for holiday dinner..great meal.toss matre d a 20 spot tell him oldest son lost id.hes in college.. i know he drinks..gets served....full as hell..sore and tired..off to bed

part 3 fri..hell yes.. pull grizwald 'alone day'..wife and boys go see new movie with tom cruse..then go ice skate.. i head to sports book!!.. first bet of the day..bust out fg first race..martin brown..on a first lasix first blinks..looks too good to be true.in a ratty bunch..play the 4/9/12 ext box for 5 bucks and 20 place on the 9..9 horse was 20 -1 ml goes off at 61 -1 the 4 was 8-1 and the 12 9-1 or so .9 goes to the lead and just holds on for 2nd.. ext comes back huge .579 for 2...36 or so for the place..picks up 1,500..on a roll..play the aq pick 6 co.. after first race..the sat feed goes out..sports book mgr doesnt care.. ..i say later and head across street to cal -neva
it works ..hang there for a bit .see a horse at turfway that looks ok 50 wp on him goes wide and otm.. bet the next race at turf 100 place on the 5..head back accross to the harrahs.. they have aq up..look over and the 5 gets up and pays 30 bucks to place..1,500 more..life is good...go back over to cal neva and collect..getting the stink eye for locals..back to harrahs..hang there the rest of the day and did great 4600 in pocket..having a drink at the bar and look at ph kasept text happy holidays.bs ing with other players..they are atr listeners and think im cool.......shut it down and wife and kids roll back in head to habachi jap steak house..with fam..285 bucks later..show good food average.. kids burnt so we head to the tables...mrs hooves doing a boat anchor on play..i win she loses..no getting ahead..go back to sports book area ..they have a thing called wild 21 its hot girls in coochie outfits as dealers..on 21 tables then when they take their break they go and go-go dance on a stage.. .mrs hooves not thrilled!! we move on..

sat..get up and pre bet fla state game drive to lake tahoe...gps is allways right.. wrong end up on cali side of mtn.. get geared up..ski this time.. start out on small hill.. teach kids and wife how to snow plow ect.. lots of fun.. head up the mt on 1 lift.. then 2 then 3..look around.. wow.. you have to see it..ski down to mid way lodge for a snack..2 waters a gatorade and a beer..2 frys..and a cheeseburger..65 bucks..wtf .. its all good..great day warms up to 40 get some sun..remarkable.dream day..no broken bones....head back in car ..to reno..florida state killing wisc.. go noles...have a meal at buffet.. hang out with family.......great day..

sunday monday..get up head to buffet.. gonna watch football.. parlay the fins/pats/bears/raiders.. fn chi blows it.. philly clowns on cowgirls whole book laughing at every bad play/turnover/td..get packed up..play aq abit..get smoked ..for 500..oh well.i was not on same page..as the horses at all sunday at aq..go play roullett..guy keep spinning 27/17/20..like 8times..get back 300.. they bring in the 'cooler' cash out.. watch the fins win....call back home people are stoked.sports book host picks up rooms..wife says..how much did you play?.. toss her 600 hush money.. go to noodle bar..comedy scene.. son says 'you go now" you been here fo awah..in front of like 30 orientals..head to airport..drop rental.. kids still dont want to help with bags.. .funny how the drop off is like 500 yrds from the terminal..get on plane at 11 pm..crash for ride home..not pilot thinks hes a blue angle on take off..scared **** out of all..then hits fn every bump in the sky.. not feeling great.. whew..lands plane.in atl....get to connection.. delayed..wtf its 60 and sunny plane is here.. door sensor is bad they say 2hrs to fix.. i go get coffee.. get back canceled.. go to counter and they tell me re booked for 7pm THAT NIGHT....im like no fn way..rent car drive 6 hrs home.. mfn delta still....good weekend till today..
