Wouldn't it be ironic if they sided with Smith, they will be going from a renowned rail rider in Borel to one that wouldn't know a rail if he was born next to one. If there were a case of 2 more different riding styles this is certainly it.

Friday was a "Race for the Cure" festival, pink ribbons and pink clothing everywhere. Oaks race for fillies, campaign against breast cancer, a marketing match made in heaven, right?

I agree with the writer in that Borel has made a mistake jumping off the Derby winner . It's not too late for him to correct that however . Or , Stoneside should not run Rachel so that Calvin is not in this position . He was promised by the previous owners they would not run her in the Preakness . That's what he said after the Derby . We'll see how this drama unfolds this week . Either way the publicity generated is a good thing for the sport .

As an aside, a friend of mine got a job working for Sheik Mo's team .
