Default 8/8: Saratoga (Day 10/Whitney-Test/$141k C/O)

Yet another day of hard-to-nab winners tripped a doubl carryover into Saturday's Whitney-Test card. Caught chalky first three exactas ($12, $18, $15) easily enough to start the day, before 8-1 I'm Your Lady upended the early P4 try. $55 exacta in the 6th (I've Got Speed-Natural Speed) was actually a nice boost before West Point firster slipped through the cracks in the 7th and killed an multi-race hopes on the afternoon. Best Value Jet Set Vinny ($16) was OK in the 9th and the $30 late double came in to close out the mediocre effort. Hope you did OK. Pair of big Gr. I's and $141k carryover highlight the otherwise humdrum card, with Arlington's Million Day blockbuster slate quite alluring...

How in the world do I leave Penna's first start of the SPA off P3 and P4 plays???

That's a terrible job outta me. Guy is having some sort of year. Horse ran HUGE here a few summers ago. P3 and P4 Payouts looks JUICY. And I'm holding dead tickets.

Unbelievable score for sure. If the winner was doing anything outside of picking numbers they are absolutely insane.

Absoutely...

As always, you can't stop the Round One... You can only hope to contain him.

The other Tony Piazza horse, Piazza D Spagna, was also ready to run, but got bounced around and shuffled and stymied much of the way in the very deep 7th that Gold Vendetta won. Tutti had just come back to her top effort last time and was sitting on a forward move. Gary and Paul were uncertain about the distance, but she ran great and Luz gave her a first class ride.

Combined win tote on Tutti with exacta hits in the Bev D and Million to rescue the day. Gary has a client named Pauline, who has a horse in Wednesday, who somehow had the $903 exacta for $50.... You read that right.

I hope he gave her some claim tickets to sign or gave her a NY bred catalog for next weekend.

can someone tell me how the hell this Pick six was hit? Hard to believe a syndicate would spend the money necessary going into a 150k plus carryover. IM thinking some grandma played birthdays and lucky numbers and hit it
