Ryan Howard - Anyone else hoping
that he gets to 62 so we can have all sorts of controversy. I would personally recognized him as the Home Run champ over Bonds/McGwire if he were to break Maris' record, but that is me. There is NO WAY that Howard is juicing, not a chance in hell

I have heard this guy(Howard) talk about this before. He said there are tests, and if they come back negative then that's all that is important.Meanwhile, the guy is probably taking a ton of HGH that the league isn't testing for at all.Until they get around to testing for it,they are totally free to get away with it(unless they get caught buying it..........like the guy did that was playing for Arizona.)Almost every time a guy has spiked like this, they have been found out.If he is doing the HGH,I think somebody will rat him out in a few years.Same for Frank Thomas.

Who cares? They arent making the playoffs and the HR stat is quite frankly a huge bore anyways.

Your right. It should be held in very high regard when such heroes like Mcgwire, Sosa, Giambi, Palmeiro and Bonds have pioneered the fine art of hitting a baseball 400 feet. All such outstanding contributors to our nation's pasttime. What would we do without them?

Howard and Frank Thomas
Guys doing HGH don't have stomachs like Ryan Howard, it chews away the fat, he hasn't worked out a day in his life
As far as Frank Thomas Scuds, the dude is NATURALLY huge, played TE for Auburn, I highly doubt he is juicing in any way but natural weights |

Gander,I am surprised you are so sure Philly is not going to make the playoffs. They are all of 1 game behind the Dodgers in the Wild Card.
LA Dodgers 78 71 .523 - Philadelphia 77 72 .517- 1 SFrancisco 74 74 .500 -3.5 Florida........74 75 .497 -4 |

My bad Scuds, I thought they were 3.5 in back of LA in the wildcard. I still dont think they will get in though, but obviously less sure now that you have corrected me. Thats a pretty big difference (2.5 games).
The reason why most of these guys juiced was to hit the long ball. MLB pretty much turned their backs on doping because they needed to fill the seats. I agree 100%. |
