Well, if ya really consider what took place, the Tigers just don't have a Joe Nathan type, and he's pretty darn talented. Like Cannon said, that Minor guy hurt ya. That pitch to Cabrera was pretty ill.

Bob, the Chisox think Garcia can keep throwing that floating wiffleball stuff a full season? That looks like some sorta cheap magic show, and the batters don't have to respect a fastball. The guy is out there on the mound, and, all the sudden, just tosses the ball to the plate (like playing catch.) Almost every pitcher is perpendicular to the plate (until they release the ball.) His chest is parallel to the plate the whole time. I can't see that lasting a full season. Is he even on the rubber?

Rodney pitched well. The run in the 10th wasn't his fault and the bleeder that won it was lucky. But yeah, Porcello deserved better.

It wasn't a bleeder. It was a solid slap between 1st n' 2nd. Some players (I won't mention names) get 90% of their hits by slapping it between the first n' second baseman. For some, it's a goal.

It was a Metrodome hit. Accelerated by the turf. Just like the one that got past Polanco earlier.

Well, they play there. If he hits it too hard, then they would of had a play at home plate. There's no doubt that it was a huge home field advantage.

I'm not a Yankee fan. I don't really give a crap. Only reasons I'm rooting for them is my dad is a huge fan and this city is more fun when the Yanks and/or Mets are in the playoffs. Really is a baseball town. I'm too busy talking myself into the Braylon Edwards trade to care much about the Yanks.
