Default House

Anybody see House tonight, great show on a highly emotional topic and, it looks like House has an admirer! If you are a Buffy fan, you should have recognized the patient???

I hesitated to read this thread Somer b/c I did not want to ruin the viewing of tonight's episode for myself.
House is my favorite network show and I dvr'ed it earlier.
going to watch it in about half an hour.

Hugh Laurie is so much fun to watch.
I bought the first 2 seasons on dvd and watched them during those 3 days btwn the closing of Saratoga and the opening of Belmont.

you and I might disagree on the quality of your wb shows, but you are spot on with House.
its the only non horse racing show I dvr each week.
I like it almost as much as The 4400.

Yes, I do agree...Laurie makes the show of course, but the other actors are excellent and the scripts have allowed more and more development. Last night's episode was emotional and well done...certainly addressed all aspects of the situation. Looks like House is gonna have fun with that 17 year old next week...should be hilarious!
I know you disagree on other shows but right now here is how I would rank the best shows CURRENTLY on TV:
1) House, Veronica Mars (tie)
3) Bones
4) Justice...brand new but wow!!
5) The Closer
6) Grey's Anatomy
Unfortunately, I don't get HBO and other premium channels so I can't comment on The Wire and a few others that I hear are excellent.
Of Course, all time:
1) Buffy
2) Angel
3) Dead Like Me
4) Firefly
5) La Femme Nikita
6) The Highlander

COME ON SOMER! You don't like Boston Legal? That is one of the best shows on television right now! Probably my #2 show right now. Sorry, nothing can get past Gilmore Girls (I know but I am a girl).

House, M.D. is #3. LOVE HIM! I loved this episode. But all I kept thinking was "In Korea door handles do not break" Ha ha. Little movie trivia there. I actually didn't remember him from Buffy. I did Alias though. Dang does he look like Sloane.

OK here is my list of my top 5 shows that I can not wait to watch every week:

1. Gilmore Girls
2. Boston Legal
3. House, M.D.
4. Bones
5. Grey's Anatomy

Fave new show so far is Justice. It really is a great show. I guess it may also help that its lead in is David Boreanez...

Also, it was Cameron who "assisted" correct? I was watching it at about 12:30 last night so I want to make sure I was understanding correctly.

House is the best show on TV, I rank it a slight bit higher than the OC, which is going a bit downhill killing off Marissa last season. I liked last night's episode. Cant wait for more.

Yes, she "did the deed"...House actually showed her some compassion at the end! She really is a beautiful woman...seems more attractive this year than last!
I like Boston Legal but always seem to miss it! And of course they have Veronica Mars on at the same time as House. Justice has a real chance to be special...I've loved all the episodes so far...now, if Fox just doesn't start messing with it! Bones is just great...tonight's episode looks good, I think that Bones followed by Justice may be the best two hour block on TV right now! Repent said he has House season two on DVD...I have season one of House and VM, need to get season two of each...but that requires money so I'll wait until I have some I guess.

I haven't gotten House on DVD yet. Waiting for the price to go down from $40-50. Season One will probably go down soon.

I do have Season One of Boston Legal. I watched it over the summer and it made me laugh just as hard as when I first watched it. I really do love this show.

Ya know what other DVD I bought? Season One of Coach. Now there was a funny show. Haven't had a chance to watch it yet though. Too many new shows on TV.

There are several I want...with no money and no DVD player though there is no hurry I figure. I want House #2, VM #2, Bones #1, The Closer, The Prisoner (old show but I see it's available now) and La Femme Nikita #4/5 whenever it comes out! If you've never seen it...get Dead Like Me, seasons 1 & 2...the funniest show ever on TV imo, unfortunately cancelled after season 2 by Showtime.

Joel Grey is best known for his work on Broadway having starred in Camelot and one of his movies was Remo Williams.

House is the best show on tv. I just don't understand why he isn't giving it to Cameron. I guess this hot little 17yr old though is going to make for interesting tv. I liked the one where OTB played a part.

Laurie was on Inside the Actors Studio and it was so weird to hear Dr. House speak with an english accent.

It might be harder to see him as the father in Stuart Little where he was a little nerdy.

"IN KOREA DOOR HANDLES DO NOT BREAK"

You got it! I LOVE THAT MOVIE! I haven't seen it in years, but that line has stayed with me.

Did you watch this show last night Somer? I have a friend who's daughter was supposed to be in the episode. Her name is Rebecca Johnson. I don't know what kind of role she was supposed to have. I didn't find out until today that she was supposed to be in the episode.

I watched it...it was OK, don't recall that name but didn't really pay attention to the credits. Both Bones and Justice were great again tonight! Great line from Bones when explaining why she broke a guy's wrist.."he touched me with his creepy serial killer hands!" The sexual tension between two of her staff is heating up also!

just a suggestion.

for anyone buying dvd's of television series,
I would suggest going to amazon.com.
I love shopping at Best Buy and for most movies on dvd, the price is the same whether its at the store or if you go online.
but after I bought Season One of House at Best Buy for like $50, I decided there has to be a cheaper way.
i think its like $30 right now at amazon.com.
I know I bought Season 2 at amazon for like $40.
usually when you spend that much money, shipping is free anyway.

btw Somer,
did you ever give the 4400 a try?
I love that show.
You can get Season 1 for like $12 at Best Buy or online.
I recently got Season 2 for like $25 from amazon.
